Her parents were always there to guide and protect her, so being away from them made her nervous. However, her friends reassured her that everything would be fine and that they could handle anything.
After setting up camp, Mary’s friends suggested they go for a hike around the woods. She agreed but was worried about getting lost or encountering any wild animals. Her friends laughed at her fears, saying that she had nothing to worry about since they were all together and well-prepared.
As they hiked through the woods, Mary realized how wrong she was. They stumbled upon a group of wild deer grazing on grass. The deer looked up at them curiously before running away. Mary’s friends found it hilarious that she had been worried about encountering wild animals when there were actually animals right in front of them.
After the hike, they returned to camp and began cooking dinner together. Mary noticed how comfortable and relaxed her friends seemed, even though they were far from home. It was a strange feeling for her, but she slowly started to feel more at ease knowing that they all looked out for each other.
Later that night, as they sat around the campfire roasting marshmallows, Mary realized something important. She didn’t have to be afraid or nervous on this trip.
